Vitebsk State University named after P.M. Masherov took part in the Gathering of Student Patriotic Associations of the Union State, which took place in the city of Tver from the 26th to the 28th of October. The assembly was filled with three days of intensive activities, new acquaintances, and idea exchanges, and it also included an interesting cultural program covering the cities of Tver and Rzhev.

In the historical park "Russia - My History," the opening of a project intensive and a discussion platform took place, where participants presented projects being implemented in the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation. This served as a starting point for sharing experiences and discussing collaboration opportunities.

The music department lecturer Natalia Alexandrovna Kruchkovskaya and forum participants shared their experience in various fields such as civic-patriotic education, pedagogy, volunteerism, family, and culture, discussing their activities in universities and organizations. This stimulated the exchange of ideas and allowed participants to learn about different approaches and examples of successful work. During the project intensive, joint events for 2024 in the field of patriotic youth education for the Union State were developed. Participants at the gathering worked together on creating and planning projects, with a special focus on shaping and fostering patriotic values among young people.

Completing the gathering, delegations from Russia and Belarus paid tribute to the memory of the Soviet soldier by laying flowers at the memorial in the city of Rzhev. This was an important symbolic moment, emphasizing the common patriotic heritage and solidarity among the participants of the gathering.

The gathering of student patriotic associations has become a significant event, providing opportunities for exchanging experiences, forming new connections and ideas, as well as expanding the cultural experience of the participants. The projects developed during the gathering will serve as the foundation for future cooperation and patriotic education of youth within the framework of the Union State.
