On October 26, within the framework of cooperation in the field of educational, scientific, and socio-cultural activities between the Vitebsk State University named after P.M. Masherov and the Yelets State Ivan Bunin University, the II International Scientific-Practical Conference "Musical-Aesthetic and Artistic Education: Experience, Traditions, Innovations" took place in an online format.

At the conference opening, welcoming remarks were delivered to the participants by the First Vice-Rector of Vitebsk State University named after P.M. Masherov, a candidate of physical and mathematical sciences and associate professor, A.P. Mekhovich; the Vice-Rector for Educational and Youth Policy of Yelets State Ivan Bunin University, a candidate of pedagogical sciences and associate professor, M.A. Kharlamova; the Artistic Director of the Weihai Youth Symphony Orchestra, Li Zunyin; the Director of the East Kazakhstan School of Arts named after Abdullins, A.O. Dyusupov.

In his welcoming speech, the First Vice-Rector of VSU A.P. Mekhovich noted that the modern relationship between Belarus and Russia truly has an allied strategic character. The spiritual connections and unity of our brotherly nations are built on a strong foundation of shared culture and universal human values, on the inseparability of our historical destiny. Education is the fundamental basis for the well-being of our countries. After all, educators, regardless of the specifics of their work, lay the foundations for tomorrow with their dedication and hard work.

At the plenary session, reports were presented by the Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Music at Vitebsk State University named after P.M. Masherov (Belarus) - Y.S. Sused-Vilichinskaya; the Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, Head of the Department of Design, Art Education, and Technologies at Yelets State Ivan Bunin University (Russia) - V.A. Maltseva; the Director of the Children's Music School in Inchuan, Weihai (China) - Zhou Yang; the Deputy Director for Academic Affairs at the East Kazakhstan School of Arts named after Abdullins (Kazakhstan) - O.N. Miskiv; the Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Piano Department at the Luhansk State Academy of Culture and Arts named after M. Matusovsky (Russia) - O.V. Kuznichenko.

In the work of Section № 1 "Traditions and Innovations in Artistic-Aesthetic Education," the following individuals participated: Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor, Head of the Music Department, S.A.
