The project "Great Victory – Unity and Memory of Generations" by students of the Faculty of Humanities and Communications, Victoria Ferenets and Nikita Pertsov, took second place at the 2nd Belarusian-Russian Media Forum, held in Mogilev.

Andrei Mekhovich, First Vice-Rector of Vitebsk State University named after P.M. Masherov, participated in a meeting between Alexander Subbotin, Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, and a delegation from Jiangxi Province, led by Sun Hongshan, Vice Governor of the Jiangxi Provincial Government.

Following the All-Russian competition for disciplines, courses, and practices using nanoCAD software, VSU received several expensive licensed software packages for use in the computer lab.

On October 24, the International Scientific and Practical Conference for Students, Postgraduates, and Young Scientists opened at Vitebsk State University. The main goal is to create a vibrant, dynamic youth space for dialogue and the exchange of cutting-edge ideas.

Students and staff of VSU named after P.M. Masherov took part in the Rally-Festival of Youth Patriotic Associations of the Union State, which took place from October 16 to 19 in Pechory, Pskov Region.

On October 14, the 3rd meeting of the Belarusian-Chinese Association of Universities was held in Minsk. During the plenary session, VSU Rector Valentina Bogatyreva signed cooperation agreements with leading educational institutions in the People's Republic of China.

On October 14, a delegation from Shandong Aviation University of the People's Republic of China visited VSU. The meeting resulted in the signing of a cooperation agreement in educational, scientific, and social-cultural activities.

The purpose of the visit was to participate in the Second Educational Forum «Uzbekistan – Belarus», which was held in Fergana, as well as to visit the country's educational and scientific institutions to expand international cooperation.

On October 2, VSU hosted a delegation from Shandong Aerospace University of Information Technology. The delegation's visit was aimed at strengthening interuniversity cooperation and discussing promising areas of partnership.

The 80th meeting of the Joint Board of the Union State Committee on Hydrometeorology and Environmental Pollution Monitoring was held at Vitebsk State University, with the participation of the Minister of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of Belarus, Sergei Maslyak.
