Born on 05/29/1976, Republic of Belarus, Vitebsk region, Haradok District, village Virovlya;

1997 - graduated from Polotsk State University (the specialty "Accounting, Analysis and Audit");

1997-2001 - Assistant Professor at the Department of Economics and Finance of Polotsk State University;

2001 - graduated from the PhD course of Belarusian State Economic University (the specialty "Accounting, statistics");

2001 - defended the PhD thesis on "Development of accounting for the formation of financial results at industrial enterprises of the Republic of Belarus";

2001–2017 - Head of the Department of Finance of Polotsk State University;

2004 - awarded the academic title of Associate Professor (the specialty "Economics");

2006 - awarded the Scholarship of the President of the Republic of Belarus for a significant contribution to the development of Economic Science;

2014 - defended the doctoral thesis on "Financial management of human capital reproduction: theory, methodology, modeling";

2016 - awarded the academic title of professor (the specialty "Economics");

2017 - Vice-rector of  Vitebsk State University named after  P.M. Masherov;

2018–2020 - First Vice-Rector of  Vitebsk State University named after P.M. Masherov;

2019 - graduated from Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Belarus (the specialty "Public Administration and Ideology");

Since January 30, 2020 - Rector of Vitebsk State University named after  P.M. Masherov.

Valentina Bogatyreva is the author of more than 140 scientific and educational-methodical works, including 10 monographs (three of them were published abroad), more than 50 articles in peer-reviewed journals of the Republic of Belarus, Russian Federation, Ukraine, Lithuania, Poland, Kazakhstan.
