A working visit of the university delegation to the Republic of Uzbekistan took place from November 21 to November 25. The delegation of the Vitebsk State University named after P. M. Masherov consisted of the first vice-rector of the University Andrey Pavlovich Mekhovich and the head of the International Relations Department Yulia Shamilyevna Salakhova.

On November 22, during a visit to the Tashkent branch of MGIMO an introductory tour and study of the branch's infrastructure was organized, the scientific and educational potential of VSU was presented, and negotiations were held on the development of mutually beneficial and promising cooperation with the leadership of the branch.

On November 23, the university delegation visited the Ministry of Preschool and School Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan in order to hold negotiations on the opening of a branch of the educational institution "Vitebsk State University named after P.M. Masherov" in the Republic of Uzbekistan. In addition, the university administration held a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Uzbekistan, Leonid Adamovich Marinich and representatives of the diplomatic mission of Belarus in Uzbekistan.

On an official visit, the VSU delegation visited the Joint Belarusian-Uzbek Interdisciplinary Institute of Applied Technical Qualifications in Tashkent. During the negotiations, they discussed areas in which higher education institutions can expand partnership cooperation, exchange experience in the field of education and science, as well as create a favorable environment for joint projects and research.

On November 24, on the basis of the Tashkent branch of MGIMO of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, a meeting with the teaching staff on the activation of scientific, educational and export-oriented cooperation and a meeting with students of the branch was organized. The procedure for signing the roadmap of scientific and educational cooperation for 2023-2024 between the educational institution "Vitebsk State University named after P.M. Masherov" and the Tashkent branch of MGIMO of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia took place.
