At the end of last week workshops of the famous Riga-based artist Ance Gritsmane were held at the “Sacred Abstraction” project at the Art faculty of our university. The participants were teachers, undergraduates and students of Art faculty.
Among the audience were Chinese and Belarusian students, students of preparatory courses in "Creativity." The head of the master classes was Mikhail Tsybulsky, Associate Professor of the Department of Fine Arts. At the end of the workshops, the artist visited the museum and art workshops.
It is not the first time, that Anze Gritsman has been in Vitebsk. A year ago, she presented an exhibition of her works at the Vitebsk Center of Contemporary Art, in the autumn she took part in the 4th International Plain Air, and on January 23rd presented the exhibition “Sacred Abstraction” at the Marc Shagal Art Center.
