In Vitebsk's sports venues, Vitebsk State University students will also be involved as volunteers - a total of 24 students (from the Faculty of Law and the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports). Their responsibilities include escorting athletes to their accommodation, assisting in organizing competitions, helping athletes during and after matches, in warm-up and training areas. They will also serve as guides when foreign guests need orientation in the city.

On August 4th, at the organizational meeting with student volunteers for the II CIS Games, Valentina Bogatyreva, the rector of VSU, discussed a number of important issues related to accommodation, meals, etiquette, and safety rules during the participation of volunteers in the Games.
