On May 20, the Faculty of Physical Culture and Sports, the Department of International Relations and the Faculty of Foreign Citizens Training organized and held "Welcome day – 2022" for Chinese citizens in the format of an online conference.

The event was attended by: educational institutions of the Hohhot Vocational Institute, Guizhou Pedagogical University, intermediary organizations and potential applicants. The online conference was attended by more than 50 potential applicants.

During the event, a promotional video of the university in English was demonstrated, comprehensively reflecting the entire educational, scientific, creative and sports potential of the university, as well as a report on "The life of Chinese students at VSU".

In order to familiarize potential applicants and educational institutions of the People's Republic of China with VSU named after P.M. Masherov, the first vice-rector of the University Dmitriy Antonovich made a welcoming speech. For a more detailed acquaintance of the participants of the event with the Faculty of Physical Culture and Sports of the VSU named after P.M. Masherov, the dean of the Faculty of Physical Culture and Sports Yulia Gaponenok made a speech.

The second part of the event was opened by a master class on respiratory gymnastics "Respiratory gymnastics as a means of improving health and preventing diseases" by Valentin Krivtsun, associate professor of the Department of Sports and Pedagogical Discipline, PhD in Pedagogical Sciences. The master class was translated by Jin Kai, a graduate of the Master's degree program of the Faculty of Physical Culture and Sports of VSU named after P.M. Masherov. Applicants were directly involved in the process, and they also had the opportunity to ask any question of interest. At the end of the event, Jin Kai's master class in wushu was shown, in which Belarusian students of the Faculty of Physical Culture and Sports were also involved.

The event was held in Chinese with the assistance of Ma Long, Senior lecturer of the Department of World Languages. The moderators of this event were the Department of International Relations. The event was also attended by the head of the Department of Theory and Methodology of Physical Culture and Sports Medicine, PhD in Biological Sciences, Associate Professor Olga Malakh and the head of the Department of Sports and Pedagogical Discipline, PhD in Pedagogical Sciences Valentin Gulidin.
