On March 17, the final of the open contest of national cultures, creativity and beauty "Grace International" -2022 took place in the Concert Hall "Vitebsk". Eight girls from Vitebsk and Minsk universities, representing seven countries (India, Sri Lanka, Congo, China, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Belarus), contested the right to be the best.
Vitebsk State University named after P.M. Masherov was represented by two students: Lu Lu (China) and Dunya Atajanova (Turkmenistan).
The final of the contest, according to a good tradition, was divided into two stages. The first stage is culinary. Each participant had to prepare a national dish. The second stage included a creative competition, defile and public speaking. During the last one, the girls had to talk about their country. The speeches sounded in different languages, but even without translation it was clear that it was about history, beauty and love for the native land.
– It is symbolic that the contest "Grace International" became the first event that Vitebsk presented in the status of the youth capital of Belarus in 2022,- said Gleb Lapitsky, General Director of the Vitebsk Cultural Center. “He showed that the youth of all countries are united by beauty, creativity and love for their homeland.
In the finals of the Open Contest of National Cultures, Creativity and Beauty "Grace International" -2022, the representative of China, a student of VSU named after P.M. Masherov Lu Lu won the contest. Dunya Atajanova was awarded the title of "Miss Charm".
