The international three-day project "Gender in the process of cooperation: Experience, Training, Visualization" with the participation of Swedish professors in the field of art was held at the Faculty of Art and Graphics. 

Anneta Getlund and Ulla Lind, professors at the Swedish Konstfack University, as well as Irina Hauska – the project manager, the member of the Union of Belarusian Artists, the member of the Union of Swedish Artists, the Master of visual culture, the graduate of the Faculty of Art and Graphics delivered open lectures, conducted master classes and seminars. 

Anneta Getlund believes that the main goal of the project is reciprocal learning in the field of fine arts:

We would like to see the difference between a teacher of fine arts or an artist in Belarus and Sweden.  We want to bring some ideas and, of course, learn something from you.  We enjoy travelling and always think about organization of a new student exchange programm in a new country. 

Ulla Lind mentions that the exchange of ideas and international cooperation are of particular importance in the sphere of education:

Education in Sweden and Belarus is similar but it differs in many aspects. We came here to inspire the students, to share experience and, of course, to get return from the audience of listeners.

Irina Hauska, graduate of the Faculty of Art and Graphics, is the main initiator and moderator of the project:

Sweden and Belarus are located in close proximity but the countries have no cooperation in many fields of art practice. This project “how to drop in neighbors for a cup of tea”: we want to share the new experience, progressive ideas and thoughts of gifted professors. I would like that “old school” of art and graphics faculty will get second wind of contemporary visual science.

Within a few days the students of the Faculty of Art and Graphics were visiting workshops, performing creative tasks and became acquainted with researches of Swedish scholars and got the new tasks.
