On November 20, one of the events in the series of anniversary events dedicated to the celebration of the 115th anniversary of Vitebsk State University was an open lecture by Vladimir Okrepilov, Doctor of Economics, Professor, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, and Scientific Director of the Institute of Regional Economic Problems of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

Vladimir Valentinovich is a distinguished Russian scholar and the founder of a new field of economics – the economics of quality. And, most pleasantly, he is a good friend of P.M. Masherov Vitebsk State University.

On this day, at the ceremonial extended meeting of the University Council, Vladimir Okrepilov was awarded the title of «Honorary Professor of VSU».
