From 1st to 8th July at the Faculty of Mathematics and Information Technologies of the Vitebsk State University named after P.M. Masherov the employees of the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education ‘Russian State Agrarian University - MSHA named after K.A. Timiryazev’ were trained within the framework of IPKiP: Associate Professor of the Department of ‘Applied Informatics’ Babkina Anastasia Valentinovna and Associate Professor of the Department of ‘Processes and apparatuses of processing industries’ Martekha Alexander Nikolaevich. The internship was supervised by the Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Information Technologies Zaleskaya E.N. and the Head of the Department of Applied and System Programming Korchevskaya E.A.
The aim of the internship: formation of professional competences of the teaching staff of the higher education institution in the field of development of digital twins for scientific and production processes of animal products processing, and the possibility of their application for individualisation of training and implementation of practice-oriented training of future graduates in open online resources.
In the course of the internship, employees of the K.A. Timiryazev Moscow Agricultural Academy:
- Participated in the seminar on the topic: ‘Industry 4.0 - realisation of digital transformation of productions’, got acquainted with the scientific and practical laboratory of computer technologies, got practical skills on creation of smart systems;
- Were introduced to the scientific and innovation IT laboratory, took part in a master class on web-development in JavaScript (React), HTML, CSS, practised practical skills of website layout in HTML and CSS;
- Were introduced to the laboratory of artificial intelligence, took part in a master class on the application of artificial intelligence technology in the creation of digital twins, got practical skills in working with the Python Keras library;
- Were introduced to the laboratory of 3D modelling and 3D printing, participated in a master class on creating a 3D model in Blender 3D, received practical skills in creating three-dimensional objects;
- Were introduced to the laboratory of virtual and augmented reality, took part in a master class on creating a realistic simulation (VR scene) in Unity 3D software, got practical skills in integrating virtual reality at the stage of engineering design;
- Were introduced to the laboratory of the Internet of Things and cyberphysical systems, took part in a master class on creating a digital double using a system of sensors and Internet of Things technologies, got practical skills in creating ‘smart things’ on the basis of the Raspberry microcontroller;
- Were introduced to the robotics laboratory, took part in a masterclass on robotics and Arduino programming, got practical skills in Arduino programming.
Based on the results of the internship, an agreement on scientific and technical cooperation between the universities on the application of virtual reality technologies for the creation of digital twins in the agro-industrial complex was signed.
