On November 21, the rector of VSU, Valentina Bogatyryova, participated in the 1st Forum of Rectors of Higher Education Institutions of Belarus and China, during which the signing of the Agreement on the establishment of the China-Belarus University Association took place. The welcoming remarks were delivered by: the First Deputy Minister of Education of the Republic of Belarus, Alexander Bahanovich, and the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Belarus, Mr. Xie Xiaoyong.

The signed Agreement on the establishment of the China-Belarus University Association includes several key positions. The cooperation will involve facilitating bilateral and multilateral inter-university exchanges and interactions; organizing events for academic exchange, including joint seminars and forums. It also encompasses joint training of high-level specialists; application for funding for scientific research; collaboration in organizing joint programs.
