On September 29, the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the Republic of Belarus organized a solemn reception in honor of the 31st anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The event was attended by the Rector of VSU named after P.M. Masherov, professor Valentina Bogatyreva and Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Citizens Training, PhD in Philosophical Sciences Valery Yanch.

Vitebsk State University named after P.M. Masherov is currently actively developing cooperation with Uzbekistan. A total of 6 agreements are being implemented. Since 2020, a joint educational program has been implemented on the “2 + 2” system in the IT specialty, also the project between Ministry of Innovative Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Belarusian Republican Foundation for Fundamental Research is being implemented.
