On September 2, the opening of the Days of the Vitebsk Region in Pskov took place on the basis of the Prostoria Center in a solemn atmosphere.

The business program of events began with the exhibition “Innovative Potential of the Vitebsk Region”, which was attended by more than 25 industrial enterprises and higher educational institutions of the region, including the exposition of Vitebsk State University named after P.M. Masherov. The exposition demonstrated developments in industrial and graphic design, a multifunctional cane, a ReDa wireless telecommunications bridge, etc. The exhibitors shared their experience of joint work, modern scientific developments and design solutions.

Officials and visitors were able to evaluate export opportunities, products of enterprises, as well as offers from tourist and health organizations of the Vitebsk region. After getting acquainted with the exhibition and the grand opening, the conference “Import substitution and industrial cooperation - opportunities for partnership” was held.

The report on cooperation in the field of education of the rector of VSU named after P.M. Masherov, Doctor of Economics, Professor Valentina Bogatyreva caught the interest of the participants.
